I've written a perl script that generates a list of all titles it can
find on the website as well as all the titles available for enrollment
through the website. There are some titles that are not available for
enrollment via the website but are available
for enrollment by phone, see the
FAQ
and the
Phone-Only enrollment
threads at
DVDTalk DVD Club forum. In general, these are one or two disc titles that
were released several months ago, and have a suggested retail price less than $45.
It takes about 12 hours to run on my DSL
connection, so I'm not releasing the source at this time (and CH probably
wouldn't appreciate a dozen people a day running it).
The file is in comma separated value format, which can be read by just
about any spreadsheet program. If you don't have a spreadsheet
program, you can download a pretty good one for free at
Open Office.
Notes:
The column "number of discs" in the datafile is based on information
in the CH web pages, and does not
always reflect the actual number of discs associated with the title.
For example, some box sets
show up as one disc.
The column "DVD release date" is only populated if CH
advertised the title as available for prerelease since February 2003.
The column "Sale Price" is only populated if the sale price is not
contingent upon purchasing another title at regular price. As always,
other people's CH accounts may have different deals, and may see different
sale prices.
There are a few titles that do not show up as available for enrollment
on the CH website, but can be ordered as enrollment options by phone. Check
DVDTalk Phone-Only enrollment thread for more details.
Hint: To find all enrollment titles, or multi-disc titles, or all the $19.95 titles,
use the spreadsheet sort function.
The Sort function can be found on the Data menu of your spreadsheet program.
I like to sort ascending on the enrollment column, descending on the discs and/or price columns, and ascending on the title column.
